Field Day 2012 Planning + Videos at 5/23 Meeting

Field Day 2012 is almost here and we have some exciting plans to share and some great videos to show. Our field day Chairman Tom Loughney, AJ4XM, will be doing the presentation and fielding the questions. There is lots of stuff to do at Field Day and everyone can play a role and have a good time. Plus we will have lots of great food (non-toxic) and drinks (non-alcoholic). Of course we will be on the air for the whole 24 hours on June 23-24 but we will be there very early to do setup and a little while after to take it all down.

This years big field day will be at John Prince Park (South of 6th Ave off Congress) and should be the best Field Day we've had in many years. Be sure to visit our website page http://www.wpbarc.com/activities/field_day.php about Field Day for updated info and some already posted video links. (Tom will be showing some different videos at the meeting.)

Also check out the pictures from last years Field Day in the website Gallery at
http://www.wpbarc.com/resources/gallery ... Day%202011

We will have a lot more space for operators, antennas, visitors and guests this year.

And as always at our meetings we will have time for some eyeball QSO's, free Door Prizes, refreshments, and a 50/50 drawing.
